Students will create an artifat along with write a life reflection. They can choose how they would like to present to the class.
Solar System explores the world around Earth, particularly the planets and the asteroid belt. Students will discover interesting facts about each planet, including their orbit and rotation times and the elements from which they are made. They will also learn the order of the planets and be able to compare and contrast them.

The mission of the Ignite Athletics coaches and staff is to provide a safe and inclusive space for children of all skill levels and sport backgrounds. The goal of the camps is to help children improve movement literacy and develop the basic skills of sports performance.
The space includes a wall climbing area with many obstacles and gross motor activities. Programmers are phenomenal at creating age appropriate obstacle courses that are inclusive to all abilities of children.
Global and Canadian Defenders for human rights have changed societal conditions and provide inspiration for students. The overall goal of Speak Truth to Power Canada is to raise student awareness that advances in human rights come through the actions of individuals.
In this lesson plan on Truth and Reconciliation you will find:
- An interview with Chief Littlechild including his biography.
- Student activities that support the theme of this lesson, including reflection activities on Chief Littlechild’s life experiences, Residential Schools in Canada, the Truth and Reconciliation’s findings and recommendations on how to move forward.
- Three brief community defender profiles to expand the lesson and encourage students to identify with a variety of defenders for human rights.
To support the lesson on Truth and Reconciliation, you will also find:
1. Sections or articles of selected legal instruments that are tied to the theme of Truth and Reconciliation.
2. A student activity that links the Moments in Time timeline of advancements and setbacks in human rights from a Canadian perspective.

This is a self reflection document to be used at any point during the year with your students - but used specfically during report card time or three-way conferences. It provides students in kid-friendly language a way of understanding the FASA conditions and how they are able to apply these to their own habits at school. This hands-on project is an impactful way to show students how truly immense our solar system is! You get to decide if you want your model to show scale planet sizes or the scale distances between planets. You can combine a planet-size model of one scale with a distance model of another scale. But if you want size and distance to be the same scale, you’ll need to spread your model across at least half a mile!
Specific directions on how to calculate size/distance scales are included.

Sustainability Foundations is the introductory course to EVERFI’s sustainability curriculum. In this standalone lesson, students learn about the interconnectedness of environmental and human systems. They are asked to reflect on the kind of future they want for the world, what it will take to get there, and the impact that individuals can have on the environment.
In this lesson, students learn are introduced to the fundamentals of sustainability, focusing on each student's individual responsibility as an active member of the global society.
