Planning for Navigation and Orientation
Just like teaching in a classroom, it is important for there to be a clear and predictable routines that happens daily. The same is true for online learning communities as well! In Part 2 of this series, tips for creating predictable, concise and clear patterns for how students navigate their online community will be shared. The topics will include course tours to share the key parts of online courses: teacher block, course information, lesson/unit navigation, assessment submissions, learning activity checklists, visual patterns, pacing guides/timelines, and tips for clear and concise instruction.
