Grade 2 Social Studies - NEEDS AND WANTS UNIT

This unit of study focuses on the NEEDS and WANTS Outcome. This unit was developed by Melissa Pellitier during her work as an Intern at Elizabeth School in Kindersley. We worked together in order to unpack the curriculum, build a frame for the unit and then to create a document that can be is used in any grade 2 setting. One of the shared reading texts used in this unit is by Vera Trembach, "Cody's Community" which would be part B of this booklet. Included are:
