Financial Literacy

"The purpose of Financial Literacy is to develop informed consumers with the habits, attitudes, and critical thinking skills necessary to approach financial decisions ethically and with competence and confidence—both now and in their future lives. Equipping all Saskatchewan students with the ability to analyze, understand, apply and appreciate the basic and complex topics associated with financial decision-making within the context of their economic and cultural environments, benefits students, their communities, the environment and society as a whole." - Saskatchewan Financial Literacy Curriculum, p. 7.
