Novel Study – Al Capone Does My Shirts

The students will read the novel, Al Capone Does My Shirts, as well as complete the many kinds of activities in the student workbook. The workbook can be found on the Teachers Pay Teachers website for a small cost. In addition to the workbook, the students were able to engage in a variety of projects that involved creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. This Lesson Plan will include an individual assignment, and group assignments. The kids were required to share in a Literature Circle, create a Mug Shot, and also create a Game inspired by the Novel.
