Katrina shared math games binder that they have compiled, full of games, talked of doing less paper - more games, math seeds, jump math

Social/ Sci - Dizzy Ozzy great resource

Health idea - match lunch kit items to food guide

Julia brought ‘I can Read’ levelled readers, 10 stories each level from TeachersPayTeacher, A Teachable Teacher

Discussion on Phonics Cue - great resource but poster too big for wall space, can cut into chunks and put up as needed

Joely shared resource from TeachersPay Teachers by Tara West, vowel team and CVC resources,  Moffet girls also great source of resources...

Chantel-  What is a Family resource fromTPT...well organized for SK curriculum ..not sure who it is made by...will let each other know if someone figures it out before June 30th!😜

Discussion on needing to make sure kids get hearing and eyes gets checked, often so many hurdles to get through and takes too much time to access support, intervention

Facebook group - reading / writing instruction- “science of reading.... what I should have learned in college”...simple practical ideas

Kilpatrick progression of phonemic awareness 

Noted that the kids are missing many basic skills, need basics of phonics and basic math facts

Used to have standard  practical base resources for math, reading, social, spelling, science...big struggle for teachers that we don’t have program.

Lisa shared anxiety, emotions, positive self talk worksheets and Social Awareness program from TPT..cost about $20 was well worth it....other units available.

After lunch plan, each working on own thing, Lisa will copy math binder, each working on own things...
