These exit slips can be answered on small slips of paper, post-it notes or you could create templates of a half page to a full page for each question. The question could be slightly reworded to become an entrance slip as well.

If you create templates, please share them in resourcebank.ca!

A question or prompt can be created for the specific content you taught that day if that is what you would like the students to focus on.  E.g., What character from the novel did you identify most with today? Why? Or What is the distributive property? Explain it with an example.

You can also create a number of prompts around 21st century skills and the framework your school uses (7Cs, SECRET) such as How did you self-regulate today?
