- LINC 1 Classroom Activities: Learning Objects - These online language learning activities are based on a series of classroom resource books and audio CDs that were produced by Algonquin College with funding from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (Ontario Region). They are designed to assist newcomers learn English in the context of Canadian culture at the Canadian Language Benchmark 1 level.

Learn English is hosted by the British Council and uses high-quality resources to help users improve their English. There are unique, but linked websites for adults, teens and children. The focus is on learning English (cognitive skills) and best suited for learners wishing to improve their English.
Although the site includes British content, the free activities would be beneficial for all EAL students.
