Sun West School Division have developed holistic EAL rubrics based on the provincial standards (Adapted from: “A GUIDE TO USING THE COMMON FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE (CFR) WITH LEARNERS OF ENGLISH AS AN ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE” – September 2013 – Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Education).Teachers use these rubrics to assign CFR scores for the EAL students.
