About me

Foundations Learning & Skills Saskatchewan is a transformational non-profit organization that changes lives throughout our province by providing free literacy, learning, and skills development programs delivered in partnership with trained volunteers and like-minded community partners.
We have been doing this important work for almost 50 years.
Since 1979, we have provided free adult tutoring services to help folks achieve their goals and participate more fully in their communities. As the demand for Foundations Learning’s well-established literacy programs has grown, so too has our organization’s provincial reach and profile.

Our services have broadened significantly over the years to meet the ever-changing literacy needs of our community. Today, we offer free adult, family, financial, and children’s literacy programs, as well as literacy facilitator training and resources. We deliver results, create opportunities, and support change in our province’s communities.
We now work with more than 300 community partners in 80+ Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities throughout Saskatchewan to further expand our efforts to advance literacy and learning.
