This site is designed to support Grades 4 - 6 French as a Second Language Teachers across the province. We hope it provides a helpful starting point for teachers new to FSL and provides enrichment for FSL teachers seeking new ideas.
Teachers from across our region have generously contributed favourite go-to sites, lesson ideas and resources that they use with their students. We have done our best to share quality materials, websites and resources, but the lesson ideas have not all been vetted.
Teachers will need to judge what constitutes effective practices for their own context and be conscientious about selecting resources and designing lessons and assessments that align with curricular outcomes and the communicative focus of the Alberta Education FSL Nine-Year Program of Studies Grades 4-12."
