Students learn about organic gardening by developing their own research questions, conducting research, gardening at their school, creating signs about their plants, and presenting their research to the class.
All students learn differently. It is important to understand

class blog to demonstrate my students’ thinking and increase
their engagement. I worked with all the different areas of
learning styles presented at this PD day. I created different
assignments and I had the students put their work on our
class blog.
Percussionist Steven Angel has developed an innovative program that uses rhythm to help struggling students improve their reading fluency and comprehension. Deceptively simple -- a facilitator taps out a basic rhythm while students read aloud -- the method relaxes students, helps them focus, and is effective in after-school intervention programs as well as traditional classrooms.
