Learner Profiles

The first step to knowing how to teach your students best, is knowing how they learn best.  You can complete several inventories for items such as:

Personality Colour (gold, green, blue, orange), Learning Style (auditory, visual, tactile), Myers Briggs, etc as well as learning preferences and interests and hobbies.

Help your students learn about themselves!  This can also help them drive their own instruction and make good deicisions about their own learning.

All students learn differently. It is important to understand
the thought processes of all students. I wanted to use the
class blog to demonstrate my students’ thinking and increase
their engagement. I worked with all the different areas of
learning styles presented at this PD day. I created different
assignments and I had the students put their work on our
class blog.
