Venture: Entrepreneurial ExpeditionIntroduce 7th - 10th grade students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, from creating a business plan to performing market research, in this food-truck simulation. In this program, students will progress through online (and offline) lessons entitled Building a Budget, The Entrepreneur in You, Planning & Building a Business, Your Business Snapshot.

The following resource contains the assets (or resources) to accompany the Sask DLC Financial Literacy 20 course.This resources allows you to access all of the Sask DLC supports for Financial Literacy 20 in one place. Course videos and supporting materials (organized by units) are provided. 

Financial Empowerment is designed for a single-semester introduction to financial planning and decision-making, in order to provide first and second-year students with the necessary financial literacy and skills needed to make sound financial decisions, assess financial risk, and achieve financial success. This textbook attempts to speak to the varied backgrounds, knowledge systems, and experiences of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians by providing Indigenous and non-Indigenous perspectives on personal finance and financial planning using examples and interviews from Elders, the Canadian financial system, and the economy.

Although some of the content of the 13 other modules are designed for middle years instruction, they are easily adaptable to secondary learners. Teachers, consult your school division to see if the 13 modules have been taught at the middle years level to avoid repetition.
