This mini unit plan is taken right from Ag in the classroom. Lesson plans and handouts are included. Topics discussed include, food waste, soil science, plant biology, and climate change.
In this unit of study students learn how patterns can be used to predict weather. They also learn about how climates vary in different regions of the world. Finally, students learn how to create a structure that can withstand weather conditions in different climates. This unit integrates nine STEM attributes and was developed as part of the South Metro-Salem STEM Partnership's Teacher Leadership Team. Any instructional materials are included within this unit of study.
