This is a professional development plan to support face to face teachers with moving to an online environment.  The intent of this framework is to provide a tiered approach to support teachers with their needs to support students and families. There are 4 parts to consider when planning for engaging online instruction.

These plans are in compliance with the direction of the Chief Medical Health Office and RPT and align with our PeBL Philosophy and REORDER planning framework.School Staff and SCC feedback along with parent, student and staff surveys were conducted in the process of this document being created.

This school division developed handbook offers many reading strategies that are applicable for use in the content areas.

This continuum breaks down the necessary research skills for kindergarten to Grade 8 in Sun West. It includes when to introduce the skill as well as the transfer of responsibility (I do, we do, you do) level expected at each grade.

Writing a land acknowledgement as a collaborative process can be a rewarding and meaningful experience for staff, students, parents and all involved. Sun West Student Learning Planner Template

It is not required that you stick to a strict schedule during at home learning. However, it is suggested that you keep a schedule for wake and bed times, meal times and chores. You can be flexible with what learning is done when, and give your children voice and choice in what one of the "6 Every Day Learning" activities they would like to tackle during learning times.
