This unit of study focuses on the NEEDS and WANTS Outcome in the Grade 2 Social Studies Curriculum. This unit was developed by Melissa Pellitier during her work as an Intern at Elizabeth School in Kindersley. This is a collection of the grade 3 outcome based playlists.
This is a unit planning frame that could be used to help in creating the road map for teaching the grade 3 social studies curriculum. It was developed in order to give students a background and a framework in FNMI. The unit is divided the unit into Pre-Newcomers and Newcomers. Welcome to Grade 6 Arts Ed Course Outline
The focus of this year’s arts education course is identity. We will explore works of art that express ideas about our identity as well others’ identity and how it is influenced. Some of the ideas we will explore will be: pop culture, cultural heritage, peer groups, personal and family interests.
The purpose of this strand in Arts Education is to explore drama and what it means. Drama is a great tool to explore and express how we feel. It also allows people to explore, form, and represent ideas, feelings and their consequences either symbolically or using dramatic form. Drama begins with observing the world and then telling that story through acting.
This guided Grade 6 ELA unit covers the Peace and Conflict theme. This station rotation resource includes setup, assignments, and assessments for a 6-7 week ELA unit.
