Le présent module est un outil d’exploration permettant de mieux connaître la chanson d’expression française au Canada, ses artistes et les courants musicaux qui se sont succédés au pays, de 1900 à aujourd’hui. Chansons features a French or Francophone song, related to each chapter's cultural or pedagogical focus, presented via audio or video. Accompanying pdfs provide additional information, as well as comprehension exercises. Songs act as a portal to various Francophone cultures and musical genres. Aural comprehension and study of lyrics afford students practice with culturally authentic text and expression. Students discover yet another reason to be passionate about studying French!

Chansons françaises est la composante musicale intégrée de Français interactif. Chansons propose une chanson française ou francophone liée au thème culturel ou pédagogique de chaque chapitre, présentée via audio ou vidéo. Les fichiers PDF accompagnants fournissent des informations supplémentaires, ainsi que des exercices de compréhension. Les chansons servent de porte d'entrée vers diverses cultures francophones et genres musicaux. La compréhension auditive et l'étude des paroles permettent aux étudiants de s'exercer avec un texte et une expression culturellement authentiques. Les étudiants découvrent ainsi une autre raison d'être passionnés par l'étude du français !
