But just 800 miles from the North Pole, the Global Seed Vault holds emergency stockpiles of most of the world's crops. It provides scientists with the tools they need to breed plants able to cope with a changing world.
This video explores the Global Seed Vault and its uses, especially with the threat of climate change for crops.

In the summer of 2015, filmmaker Scott Parker travelled to the great plains of southern Saskatchewan to produce 10 short documentary films based on community-generated ideas. Subjects, themes, even interview questions were all selected using significant community input, and each film was screened with the participants for their feedback and final approval.

GRoW is an advanced robot made for precision greenhouse harvesting. This machine will autonomously move throughout the greenhouse scanning and choosing vegetables ready to be picked from the vine. GRoW moves up and down the rows of the greenhouse unmanned and then is driven to the next row via a phone app. The phone app also lets you configure which ripeness to harvest and where on the vine to make the cut. GRoW will record and predict productivity to ensure optimum performance.
