This task is the first in a series of three tasks that use inequalities in the same context at increasing complexity in 6th grade, 7th grade and in HS algebra. Students write and solve inequalities, and represent the solutions graphically.
This task is the second in a series of three tasks that use inequalities in the same context at increasing complexity in 6th grade, 7th grade and in HS algebra. Students write and solve inequalities, and represent the solutions graphically.
This task is the last in a series of three tasks that use inequalities in the same context at increasing complexity in 6th grade, 7th grade and in HS algebra. Students write and solve inequalities, and represent the solutions graphically. The progression of the content standards is 6.EE.8 to 7.EE.4 to A-REI.12.
This is a series of warmup activities that work on selected Health and Skill Related components of fitness. Each Blast will cover many curricular outcomes in one session. You can use the Blasts not only as focused activity but as a tool for and of learning.

Today we're going to wrap up our discussion of General Linear Models (or GLMs) by taking a closer looking at two final common models: ANCOVA (Analysis of Covariance) and RMA (Repeated Measures ANOVA). We'll show you how additional variables, known has covariates can be used to reduce error, and show you how to tell if there's a difference between 2 or more groups or conditions. Between Regression, ANOVA, ANCOVA, and RMA you should have the tools necessary to better analyze both categorical and continuous data.

Christmas is right around the corner, and there are plenty of ways to bring the holiday cheer into the classroom. Education World has curated a list of resources and lesson plans teachers can use in the classroom for Christmas time.
The resources include:
- 3-D Snowflake Magnets
- Christmas Poems
- Snowman Picture Christmas Ornament
-The 12 Days of Christmas: How Much Does True Love Costs These Days?
- Writing Letters to the Three Wise Men
This resource looks at the five stages for the creative process including:
1. Preparation
2. Incubation
3. Illumination
4. Implementation
5. Evaluation
"Humor, goofiness, joy, fun — these were actually vital to developing a creative classroom culture. When I taught middle school, we had a wordplay wall at the back with ridiculously bad dad jokes (things like “fire drill” and “slow jams” and “graduated cylinder”). We had Easter Eggs hidden throughout the classroom. We had our own version of a Rick Roll. If someone asked you to “share a link,” you had to “Cher a link” instead, sending them to a music video from Cher. "
This excellent resource includes videos, and some reading. It's very engaging - and fun! It's all about bringing joy to your classroom - which happens to spark community, creativity and foster risk taking! Win win win!
This game will reinforce number before and after as well as reading and sequencing numbers.
This awesome science video explores how engineers run trials to identify failure points and then design ways to fix those failure points so that they come up with a viable solution to the problem they are working on.
This task can be used to both assess student understanding of systems of linear equations or to promote discussion and student thinking that would allow for a stronger solidification of these concepts.
To become familiar with the transfer of energy in the form of quantum, students perform flame tests, which is one way chemical engineers identify elements by observing the color emitted when placed in a flame. After calculating and then preparing specific molarity solutions of strontium chloride, copper II chloride and potassium chloride (good practice!), students observe the distinct colors each solution produces when placed in a flame, determine the visible light wavelength, and apply that data to identify the metal in a mystery solution. They also calculate the frequency of energy for the solutions.

"APERÇU
Construisez une fleur mécanique qui s'ouvre lorsqu'il y a de la lumière. Cette fleur utilise quelques mouvements mécaniques intéressants dont un câble push-pull pour convertir le mouvement de rotation en un mouvement linéaire pour une tige flexible. Ensuite, le mouvement est reconverti en points de pivotement rotatifs pour ouvrir et fermer les pédales. L'utilisation des clips de reliure signifie également que vous êtes libre de créer vos propres pétales de fleurs.

INVESTIGATE HOW THE FORCES OF THRUST, DRAG, LIFT, AND GRAVITY ACT ON LIVING THINGS AND CONSTRUCTED DEVICES THAT FLY THROUGH THE AIR.
DESIGN A WORKING PROTOTYPE OF A FLYING OBJECT THAT MEETS SPECIFIED PERFORMANCE CRITERIA.
