Ce guide vise à soutenir les efforts continus du personnel enseignant à développer les compétences en lecture des élèves des écoles de langue française de l’Ontario. Il fournit au personnel enseignant de l’information sur l’enseignement efficace des connaissances et des habiletés fondamentales en lecture du français, un aperçu de la façon dont ces compétences se développent chez les jeunes enfants, et des exemples de stratégies d’enseignement explicite et systématique, fondé sur des résultats probants, afin de permettre aux élèves de devenir des lectrices et des lecteurs habiles.

The Lethbridge Curriculum Developers Group Explore French Through Music website is a free, open access resource to support French language instruction with fun and interactive songs. Their are various materials provided on the website including songs, interactive activities, and cultural exploration. Activities are available for individuals to download for use in your class or use them as models for developing your own language materials.

This thematic unit from Comox Valley Schools (SD71) in B.C. is aimed at Grade 5 Core French students, but is suitable for younger grades and would be easily adaptable for older ones.
