"Getting a workout in with kids around doesn’t have to be complex. In fact, it can even be fun! The secret isn’t finding time without the kids. The secret is inviting the kids to workout with you. Here’s a look at 12 workouts you can do with your kids, in your home."
Move Your Body
Move Your Body! Children should continue to get the 60 minutes of recommended exercise daily. This can include family walks, playing in the backyard, or a number of videos and supports we have available including guided yoga and other fitness sites such as Fitness Blender. Don't forget to take care of your mind too. We have plenty of resources available for breathing exercises and mindfulness as well.

Jay Sand, guitarist and children’s music teacher, world traveler and dad of three girls developed All Around This World with his girls as a way to introduce them to the countries he’s already visited and the many more he plans to visit with them.

This site offers the opportunity for students to Code a Dance Party to share with their friends. Use coding and music to be creative. Included are dance party activities, teacher resources, and an unplugged dance party activity where no computers are needed and student can learn coding concepts to choreograph a dance party. together. Look for lots of videos and resources for inspiration.

"Do Yoga with Me is one of my personal favourite sources for good home workouts, obviously of the yoga variety! Many of their classes are filmed outdoors in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. The level of instruction is top-notch and there are videos that focus on pretty much every part of the body (e.g. hips, hamstrings, back, etc.), so you can target the area that you need to work on most."
