A collection of resources for PeBL Mentors at Sun West School Division.
This toolkit has been designed to support PeBL Mentors in their role.
This package includes a wealth of valuable resources when preparing to plan and assess using PeBL.
Documents include: starting with the end in mind, unpacking outcomes, developing learning experiences, developing unit plans, developing lesson plans, 9 events of instruction, think aloud to unpack outcomes, steps to unpack outcomes and indicators, including 21st century skills, including REORDER, unit planning template.
While meeting with your PeBL Mentor, use the following to reflect on where you are at and areas for potential growth. Your PeBL Mentor is here to support you with ideas for moving throughout the I-do We-do You-do process, provide you with resources and/or access to other subject-alike mentors, co-plan and co-teach. You may move back and forth between these areas (as you should) based on student need and opportunity, so it is not an either/or, but rather a reflection on whether you are providing all three levels at various times.
This document examines the purpose of each type of goal/plan. A chart is included to explore the similarities and differences of PGs, SSPs & IIPs.
This resource has 24 considerations when implementing and demonstrating growth with personalized learning in your school. A checklist for those beginning with personalized learning is provided, as well as how to progress to deeper levels of personalization using the transfer of responsibility within classrooms and schools. PeBL mentors can use this information to guide their work within the school and specific classrooms to help ensure that everyone continues to grow and develop and deepen their level to have students personalize their own learning.

REORDER Infographic or Graphics for Sun West
AP 110 2d REORDER Rubric that is used to implement PeBL philosophy into Sun West schools and classrooms. The rubric is based on the REORDER framework where each part of the framework is based on a 4 point scale for focus areas.
This professional development covers why reading is the cornerstone of all education and the PeBL philosophy.
Reading is demystified into the components that all students need to read. Then strategies and the transfer of responsibility are used supporting the Saskatchewan Reads framework.

Role of PeBL Mentor
