The game uses a semi-randomized Google Street View location for paying members and Mapillary for non-members. You can play one free game every 24 hours or subscribe to be able to play as much as you want.

An adorable way to introduce younger students to coding!

"Kodable is a complete K-5 curriculum taking students from learning to think like a programmer in Kindergarten to writing real JavaScript by 5th grade. ... Kodable provides easy to follow lesson plans focused on student outcomes so teachers can teach their students to code, no computer science knowledge required."

You can use this with your students for free, but once they get to a certain part of the program, you have to buy a paid subscription to continue. You have Introductory access to all Kodable games for K-5.

Math TV is an amazing collection of how-to videos in a variety of math subjects. Checking it out, I watched a video on how to multiply fractions and I (a teacher) learned a new method. Imagine what your students can learn.

Fostering Remembrance is a part of everything The Legion does. Through The Royal Canadian Legion's longstanding Annual Poster and Literary Contests, Canadian school children honour Canada’s Veterans through creative art and writing, and help perpetuate Remembrance.

Contests are available for students 5 to 18 for posters (colour & black and white), essays and and now a video entry category as well.
