SaskOutdoors (Saskatchewan Outdoor and Environmental Education Association) encourages educators and people who participate in outdoor recreation to practice and teach environmental responsibility.

This series of ten lessons has been developed to teach students about local and global water issues. They are based on NASA‰Ûªs Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) Mission. The activities are done largely outdoors and include scientific data collection and analysis and integrate technology. Many of the lessons involve data collected based on protocols from the GLOBE Program. Each lesson is designed to take one hour; the lessons build on each other, but can also be used independently. Each lesson topic includes a lesson plan, PowerPoint presentation, student capture sheet and capture sheet answer guide.

The Take Me Outside Organization believes in a future where spending time outside learning, playing and exploring is a regular and significant part of every student's day. The website has a excellent teaching resources that include ready to go activities for all ages that connect to learning outside.

Tinkergarten offers play-based outdoor activities that suit a wide range of ages. These activities are purposefully designed to bring 3, 4, and 5 year olds together with their families to bond while developing problem solving and emotional skills, as well as learning how teamwork can be integral to group activities. Activities can be sorted by age, grade level, or by learning domain/content. Many of these activities align with the philosophy and beliefs in the Play and Exploration document, as well as the Essential Experiences documents from the Ministry. The activities themselves are not technology based, so instructions could be printed off and sent home for families with limited technology resources at home, while still allowing them to participate in supplemental learning with their child
