Enhancing French skills is a website for intermediate learners of French. It includes authentic language videos from French websites, as well as interviews of French speakers on cultural topics. Videos and activities are organized into five broad themes and tagged by communicative language function with links into Tex’s French Grammar for specific grammar explanations and interactive exercises. Each theme includes a pdf of suggested classroom activities and homework.

This is a core French unit developed for grades 4 and 5 that studies the Festival du Voyageur and discusses other French festivals across Canada.
Students have an opportunity to learn about the voyageurs and their travels. Students will discover the leisure activities, food and clothing of the voyageurs. They will visit the website of the Festival du Voyageur that is held each year in Saint-Boniface, Manitoba. For the experiential goal, students will create and organize a “voyageur” afternoon including a brochure or poster and an oral presentation. The teacher’s guide includes learning objectives, a list of resources and step-by-step suggestions on how to teach the unit.

'Students create a game based on La Francophonie. The learning experiences include: exploring the format and process of playing a game, researching famous French-speaking individuals and countries where French is spoken ... students ... create a game using their knowledge of French-speaking people.'

Français interactif is organized into 13 chapters that deal with themes relevant to beginning French learners. It helps learners unveil the French language and culture following the lives of American students who participated in the UT Summer program in Lyon, France. The students will introduce their French host families, their French university, and their lives in France.
