The purpose of this strand in Arts Education is to explore drama and what it means. Drama is a great tool to explore and express how we feel. It also allows people to explore, form, and represent ideas, feelings and their consequences either symbolically or using dramatic form. Drama begins with observing the world and then telling that story through acting.

The Ministry of Education has developed a brief support document that outlines the link between Pan-Canadian Assessment Program (PCAP) and Saskatchewan English Language Arts curricula and offers some questions teachers could consider as they reflect on reading instruction and student achievement.

Choose a contemporary technology or achievement. Examples may include MP3, space shuttle, medicines, surgery, farming equipment, washing machine. Trace the origins of the modern technology device back to its beginnings. Use a timeline to present your findings.
