Agriculture has a wealth of links to the Saskatchewan curriculum. This document lists each grade and the specific curricular outcomes that connect to agriculture for the related subjects. Outcomes are listed for Science, Health and Social Studies.
Grade 1 to 9.

This is a group project I use when teaching body systems in grade 5. Each group is assigned a specific body system to research, write about, create a diagram, and then present to the class. Once all groups have presented to the class, I give each student a test, to assess how much information they understood.

This resource contains an abundance of ELA infused, cross-curricular lessons organized by themes for Grades 4, 5 and 6. Non-fiction, poetry and fiction reading lessons are all included. 

The following are the outcomes each grade will work on in Saskatchewan. The outcomes are written in student and parent friendly language using "I Can" statements.

This writing continuum was created by Kenaston School (Nicole Duley and Cindy Menzies). It has taken the writing outcomes for Grades K-8 and organized them in a scope and sequence. This can be used to track individual student progress through the outcomes and follow the student through the grades to support in the implementation of the PeBL philosophy and the creation of personalized goals.

Made by a Grade 5 teacher in Saskatchewan. Kids Boost Immunity (KBI) provides dozens of classroom activities and teacher resources developed by health and education professionals. 

This self-reflection tool is designed to ensure that teaching practices are aligned with Structure Literacy. The user is encouraged to note (by checking off the boxes) all areas they are currently putting into practice. This is a great project to do later in the year once students have practiced independent research skills. Students are put into groups, and assigned a "big idea" form the power and authority strand to research and present to the class. 

This story follows Reggie as he explores the different types of technology used in the agriculture industry.

This storybook tells the story of two young children who decide to grow a garden. Along the way, they face many of the same issues in their garden that their parents face on the farm. Together the family experiences the wonders of growing food while learning about balancing the growing food with caring for the environment.

This process and template provide teachers with a structure to infuse structured literacy cross-curricularly. This includes a 9 step process, as well as a template to plan on, and an example.
