Two gamified financial literacy courses are now freely available for Canadian students and teachers on the ChatterHigh platform.

Students can now access two age-appropriate courses designed to help boost students' financial knowledge and confidence at any stage of their financial journey.

Course titles:
- Money Management Foundations* (Grades 6 - 12)
- Money Management and Budgeting
- Money Management After High School (Grades 9 - 12)
- Managing My Money After High School

Students will explore resources and tools on the FCAC website that they will be able to use well beyond high school.

It’s kind of like a STEM Advent Calendar of learning for the month of December! Included are lots of cool science, tech, math and engineering activities to keep little ones busy.

You can play one free game every 24 hours or subscribe to be able to play as much as you want.

Saskatchewan Health Authority Germ Smart Handwashing program for Schools has gone online.
Handwashing is one of the most important things we can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Incorporating handwashing education into student learning can make a real difference. This program is for elementary, middle level and high school students and includes free videos, activities, posters and more!

Google Arts and Culture is a massive collection of videos and images of cultural artifacts from over 2,000 museums around the world. You can explore places around the world and gather vetted resources for lessons and activities for your classroom.

Google Translate is a simple yet powerful app packed with great features including the ability to translate text among 133 languages, translate text in images by simply pointing the camera of your device, translate taken or imported photos, instant translation of bilingual conversations, draw text characters instead of typing, star and save translated words and phrases, and many more. It can also be used offline with no internet connection. The app is available for Apple and Android devices, or offers a basic online service. 

The Grade 1-3 PLC team has created a choice boards for students learning from home in response to COVID-19.
The areas addressed include Reading, Writing, Math, Get Moving, Get Active, and a subject area project.

This is a unit planning frame that could be used to help in creating the road map for teaching the grade 3 social studies curriculum. It was developed in order to give students a background and a framework in FNMI. The unit is divided the unit into Pre-Newcomers and Newcomers. This way the students will develop a better understanding of the FNMI understandings.

In this lesson students will explore the close relationship First Nations people of Saskatchewan have traditionally had with the natural world. First Nations people grew plants and produced food long before the European settlers began to arrive. Students will examine some aspects of the interdependence of First Nations people with their environment.
