Welcome to the Mathematics Shed, there are a whole host of free resources and links on this site. So many grade levels and math outcomes covered by various themes such as Lego, Star Wars, Encanto, Minions, Superheroes and many others. The website includes a "Starter of the Day" activity, visuals, games, printables, number talks, word problems and mental math activities.

The Multiplication Course is a highly interactive multiplication course – on YouTube – with 156 short videos. They are for all students, all teachers, all parents, everyone!

The course teaches students deep, rich, and important multiplication concepts while they are also learning multiplication facts. It also puts students in control of their learning, allowing them to pause the think deeply, allowing them time to write, allowing them to discover important math ideas.

The animated videos are organized in 12 chapters – and each chapter is in a playlist on YouTube. The course is for students in grades 3-8, and it’s completely free.

Tag Line: Challenging math problems worth solving

A collection of math problems that require some good thinking, and maybe a few attempts. The idea is to move beyond procedural understanding.

The collections are sorted from grades Kinder to High School (for common core standards in the US - but probably transfer well). The problems usually involve some blank spots which must be filled with numbers. In many of the problems you can not use a digit more than once.

Like similar sites that provide these problem style questions, you can submit your own to add to the collection.
