"The CASS “Guide to Relationships and Learning with the Indigenous Peoples of Alberta” was developed to support our members, as system leaders, to deepen their understanding of foundational knowledge of the Indigenous Peoples. This Guide was developed through an Indigenous lens by including the voices and teachings of Elders and Knowledge Keepers. Their voices are captured on video and edited to introduce and bring understanding to multiple areas of learning that capture and cover the essential teachings identified by the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples of Alberta."

The Common Framework of Reference (CFR) is a criterion-referenced performance scale that supports educators as they work with a growing demographic of learners that require English as an Additional Language (EAL) supports. In order to ensure that such learners attain high levels of achievement across the Saskatchewan curriculum, the use of reference scales and corresponding resources is valuable to teacher planning and development of:
effective strategies to support English language learners; consistent approaches to instruction and assessment based on language needs; and, ongoing monitoring of student progress over time.

The program includes projects encompassing everything from improving septic systems to planting seagrass to protecting habitats. All projects aim to improve the ecological and economical health of the region. The site provides information about Gulf Coast geology as well as links to information about the Ice Age.

Students use gumdrops and toothpicks to make lithium atom models. Using these models, they investigate the makeup of atoms, including their relative size. Students are then asked to form molecules out of atoms, much in the same way they constructed atoms out of the particles that atoms are made of. Students also practice adding and subtracting electrons from an atom and determining the overall charges on atoms.
