Rating

Now more than ever is the time to consider the realities of Canadian-Black communities. Explore our collection of films by distinguished Black filmmakers, creators, and allies. We’ve selected a group of NFB films that portray the multi-layered lives of Canada’s diverse Black communities. The incredible stories of strength, courage and perseverance in the face of adversity that these films present are not often found in mainstream history books. Black communities and cultures have been part of Canadian history from its earliest days, but sadly, their contributions and the lessons they can teach are rarely studied at the elementary or secondary level in schools.

Welcome to the World of Blooket: a new take on trivia and review games! Sign up to get started! Introduction video @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFe9Rch0Q8w

The way it works is that a teacher/host picks a question set and a unique game mode. Then, we generate a code that players can use to join the game on their own devices. After the game starts, players will answer questions to help them win. That’s where the fun starts, because we offer a variety of games to keep students engaged and excited!

Students are encouraged to participate in games with rewards for answering questions and exploring new methods of learning. Overcoming our challenges drives students to perform well while reviewing.

Question sets can be painlessly imported or created easily with our powerful Set Builder. You can also explore our incredible collection of sets built by other amazing users on the Discover page.

Ditch the old, redundant classroom review game and try out our variety of unique, engaging game modes. Also, edit game settings with a variety of options to truly make Blooket the perfect tool for you.

The Boxwood Project
Rating
0.0 stars

The AGO’s collection is searchable on their website, but some exhibits stand out more than others.
One gem on the website right now is The Boxwood Project, which contains countless photos of exquisitely tiny gothic carvings, accompanied by not just one scientific analysis showing how researchers figured out how the beads were made, but numerous essays on the topic.
Another feature is an interactive website compiling around 3,000 photographs taken by Henryk Rozencwaijg-Ross of the Jewish ghetto in a Polish city during the Holocaust. Visitors to the webpage are encouraged to use the “Build My Collection” function to curate their own exhibit out of the photographs and share it with others.
