The Interpersonal Relationships Module focuses on developing the life skills of the individual within the context of healthy relationships. Relationships can be with people directly in an individual's environment or with others in the broader community. In order to maintain healthy relationships we need to be aware of the impact we each have on the lives, behaviour, attitudes and values of others.

Developed for second grade. Students will first hypothesize whether wheat bread or white bread will grow more mold. They will test the hypothesis using a simple and inexpensive set up. Bread will be placed in a plastic bag to be observed and never opened. Students will measure mold on a daily basis and record the data to graph later. Opening accounts, RRSPs for kids and tax-free savings accounts are just some of the topics discussed. The program uses a combination of storytelling and knowledge sharing that is a common way for indigenous people to learn from each other. In this case they sit together and talk about finances and gain financial empowerment that a lot of people have not had access to before. Participants who attend all five workshops (Assets, Budget, Banking, Credit, and Consumerism) receive a certificate of completion that can be applied to their credit report.

With the correct responses, they build a picture of the Moon. This activity is part of Explore! To the Moon and Beyond! - a resource developed specifically for use in libraries.

Students learn about the Earth's only natural satellite, the Moon. They discuss the Moon's surface features and human exploration. They also learn about how engineers develop technologies to study and explore the Moon, which also helps us learn more about the Earth.

This is an activity about gravity. Learners will design their own experiments to explore the fundamental force of gravity and then extend their thinking to how gravity acts to keep objects like moons and ring particles in orbit. They use the contexts of the solar system and the Saturn system to explore the nature of orbits. The lesson enables students to correct common misconceptions about gravity and orbits and to learn how orbital speed decreases as the distance from the object being orbited increases. This is lesson 3 of 6 in the Saturn Educators Guide.
