The Cree Dictionary of Mathematical Terms with Visual Examples provides Cree equivalents of 176 mathematics terms and their definitions in English. The visual examples mainly contain Indigenous elements. The Dictionary was reviewed by Elders, Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and Cree-speaking educators.

An inquiry-based project to map the land in your community. The key concepts in this unit are grounded in Indigenous beliefs of interconnectedness, connectedness, and respect for all things.

The driving inquiry questions for this unit are:
1. How can respect for the land be shown?
2. What do we look for when setting up a camp?
3. What stories or teachings are connected to key locations in and around our community?
4. How has the land around our community changed over time?
5. Who do we share our community’s lands with?

Welcome to this eLearning, Nisitohtamowin ᓂᓯᑐᐦᑕᒧᐃᐧᐣ. This one hour course provides an introduction to understanding Indigenous perspectives in Canada.

Taking action towards understanding Indigenous perspectives can lead to reconciliation, better relationships, and various opportunities when it comes to the economy, community partnerships, the environment, business, and beyond. This course is just a first step on the journey to understanding. We encourage all participants to seek further learning opportunities either with Indigenous Peoples in your own region or at First Nations University of Canada.

This course is available free to the public until September 2025.

The Seven Sacred Laws is a colourful and imaginative animated web series that follows a young boy on an Indigenous rite of passage: a vision quest. On his spiritual journey, he meets seven sacred animals that teach him how we as people should live our lives on Mother Earth

In partnership with The Turtle Lodge International Centre for Indigenous Education and Wellness in Sagkeeng First Nation and IG Wealth Management, Manitoba 150 is honoured to present a series of short animated films on the Seven Sacred Laws. Written by Anishinaabe Elder, Dr. David Courchene, directed by Indigenous filmmaker, Erica Daniels of Peguis First Nation, and created by Manitoba’s Peg City Pictures Inc., the vignettes tell the stories of Indigenous Peoples in their own voices, in a format that is accessible not only for Indigenous people, but for all Manitobans.

This guide is a resource for educators at all levels to introduce the value of Indigenous women’s and girls’ lives into the classroom and into the minds and hearts of young people. It will prepare educators to use a decolonizing pedagogy and a trauma-informed approach in their teaching.
