In an average year, Canada mourns the loss of over 100 adults and children due to agricultural fatalities. Canada’s agricultural sector is one of the most hazardous industries in which to work.
Producer groups, non-profits, government bodies, industry and researchers formed what is now the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) in 1993 to respond to issues of health and safety in agriculture.
As a national, non-profit organization, CASA promotes farm safety in the agricultural sector. CASA works with partners in government, business, and farming organizations across the country to support initiatives that equip producers, their families and their workers with the information and tools needed to make farms a safe place to live, work and play.
CASA is governed by a seven-person Board of Directors drawn from a membership base that includes individuals, organizations, governments and businesses.

ROVER (Recommended Online Video Education Resources) is a video streaming service for Saskatchewan teachers and students in the PreK-12 education system. It is managed and maintained by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education. ROVER is a video-on-demand service that provides teachers and students with the convenience of immediate access to streamed, educational videos that support curricula.

This site also offers all of the curriculum documents for all grade levels.

If you are unable to access the site, it may be because a Saskatchewan Ministry of Education Blackboard login is required. All students have an Edonline account, so contact your child's school or the Ministry of Education’s Support Desk at 1-866-933-8333 or email at stans@gov.sk.ca for login information. This mobile training program provides specialized critical care skill training to STARS crews and other emergency care providers. The first mobile program of its kind in North America, it features a human patient simulator which replicates complex medical and traumatic problems over and over again. It offers medical personnel the opportunity to test and practice their reactions and skills, leading to a high degree of familiarity and confidence.

The mannequin: speaks and breathes, blinks and has reactive pupils, has a heartbeat and a pulse
accurately mirrors human responses to such procedures as CPR, intravenous medication, intubation, ventilation and catheterization.

The mannequins have been installed in four motorhomes, creating large mobile emergency rooms. Additionally, STARS has a wireless mannequin that can be transported in a specially-modified SUV. This mannequin can be used in a variety of environments including hospital emergency rooms, classrooms, and mock accidents scenes.
