Select the "Teacher Centre" to find a wealth of lesson plans for all subject areas. E.g., Women's day, colonization, misinformation, critical thinking, evolution etc.

We provide dozens of classroom activities and teacher resources, each of which are paired with an online quiz that students can take on their laptop, tablet, or phone. This two-pronged lesson approach enables teachers to tailor a classroom experience that is supplemented by a fun and interactive experience for the student. Our online quizzes have been developed by health and education professionals, as well as communication experts who have studied the online behaviour of students – as such, they are accurate, informative, but also engaging for the student.

Kids Boost Immunity (Programme d'études, compétences, leçons)
Rating
0.0 stars

"The Ministry of Education is working to help ensure all children and youth in Saskatchewan know how to access  Kids Help Phone (KHP) for support. KHP’s e-mental health services and resources are free to access, 24/7, for people across Canada including kids, teens and adults. KHP supports students with any issue on their mind, big or small. Attached are  one-page posters so that all youth in Saskatchewan know that KHP is there for them whenever their feelings need a place to go and when they need someone to call or text. The posters have been designed to target all youth, with some of the posters focused on targeting specific youth (e.g., Indigenous youth). The posters also feature QR codes for quick access to KHP’s website."

Kindergarten Phonological Resources - Weekly Information & Videos
Conditional Remix & Share Permitted
CC BY-NC-SA
Rating
0.0 stars

Phonological awareness skills are important in order to develop good reading and spelling skills. Having good phonological awareness skills means that a child is able to manipulate sounds and words, or “play” with sounds and words. For example, you might ask your child to break the word “cat” into individual sounds: “c-a-t.”

Important: These skills deal with SOUNDS not letters. For example, /t/ represents the sound and not the letter name “tee.” You will not use any written or visual letters when working with phonological activities. These activities are done with listening and speaking only. Learning the letter names and their corresponding sounds is also very important but should be taught and practiced at a different time of the day.

This resource will have a weekly activity for your to work on with your child/student(s). It will include a handout with information and guidance, as well as a video to help support you and the learner.

Kit éducatif sur le plastique océanique
Unrestricted Use
CC BY
Rating
0.0 stars
