This series is a charming and often humorous look at the contemporary life of a Cree community. Set in a fictitious community in northern Saskatchewan, the animation stories follow the exploits of young Raven, Talon and their cousin T-Bear as they face challenges and learn valuable life lessons.

Educators can use the series to teach children about Cree culture and about universal themes such as honouring tradition, cooperation, self-esteem and ethics. This series is also available in French and Cree versions.

In the developing world, access to incubators is limited by cost and distance, and millions of premature babies die each year. TED Fellow Jane Chen shows an invention that could keep millions of these infants warm -- a design that's safe, portable, low-cost and life-saving. WAYFINDER is an expression of our connectedness to the natural world. It's an opportunity to renew a damaged ecosystem through discovery and verse. The calming, contemplative gameplay is symbolic of the cause-and-effect relationship humans have with nature. It underscores our role in both affecting, but ultimately remedying, the effects of climate change through action and a greater appreciation of the environment.The art is generative. The visual assets and poetry are assembled procedurally and algorithmically through code, creating different combinations for each new visitor. The textured, hand-illustrated aesthetic is delivered in real-time, and the poetic verses are created with a mix of artificial intelligence/machine learning and generative processes, providing thousands of possible combinations. As such, Wayfinder is an ever-changing, emergent artwork with infinite possibilities. Each time it runs, it produces a new and individualized world.

The jury’s subsequent acquittal of Stanley captured international attention, raising questions about racism embedded within Canada’s legal system and propelling Colten’s family to national and international stages in their pursuit of justice.
