Having a variety of inventories makes it easier to revisit this each year without having to do the same inventory over and over.

This includes online and printable inventories as well as tips for studying and a student-led discussion activity are included.

They will become familiar with the parts of the body, how to describe physical characteristics and traits of people, and discuss popular sports and physical activities that students practice. Numerous motivating activities are included to communicate in French.
'...students will create a booklet about a friend and present it to the class. The teacher’s guide includes learning objectives, a list of resources and step-by-step suggestions on how to teach the unit. In addition, the guide includes answer sheets, suggested vocabulary and motivational games, supplementary activities, written text of the listening activity, flashcards, model letter to parents, evaluation grids and activities.

Financial literacy is very interconnected to career planning, education planning, family planning and mental wellness. The impact of these 5 items is circular and unemployment is a very important topic in this whole circle. If someone is unemployed, the economic and financial impact can be devasting (look at what happened when millions lost their jobs during 2020 Covid-19 crisi!)

The purpose of this project is to allow students to calculate their net and gross salary and living expenses in both Canada and a foreign country. The project is divided into three parts - calculating salary, calculating living expenses and comparing the two. The teacher may chose to do only some of the parts depending on time and interest.

The project will cover the topics in the following outcomes: WA 10.10 Apply proportional reasoning to problems involving unit pricing and currency exchange; and WA 10.11 Demonstrate understanding of income.

Students will need to the following background skills:
1. How to research and write a bibliography.
2. Familiarity with the concept of gross income, deductions and net income.
3. Familiarity with the concept of exchange rates.
