These courses are FREE and excellent. Students navigate engaging courses at their own pace.

Book Creator is a simple tool for creating awesome digital books. This site is a great way to bring creativity to your classroom or home. Students create, read and publish using a set of tools that is simple to use. Features include:

One gem on the website right now is The Boxwood Project, which contains countless photos of exquisitely tiny gothic carvings, accompanied by not just one scientific analysis showing how researchers figured out how the beads were made, but numerous essays on the topic.
Another feature is an interactive website compiling around 3,000 photographs taken by Henryk Rozencwaijg-Ross of the Jewish ghetto in a Polish city during the Holocaust. PAC MAN & ARCADE GAMES -transform your quiz into a trivia Pac Man game. The kids have to answer questions to play and if they die they must answer more questions to continue. The kids can make their own trivia games as well. This could be a great final product and you could play it on the smartboard as a class to evaluate it.
FAKE NEWS Headlines - this would be great for an important event in a novel, or current events, or historical info!
