These materials may be used in a variety of contexts such as staff meetings, professional learning groups, workshops, school councils and community gatherings. The sample conversation questions and actions may also be useful for individual teacher reflection and planning."

The Ministry of Education, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, has renewed the policy document Nourishing Minds: Eat Well – Learn Well – Live Well (2019). "The learning resources created for the numeracy project include:

*a document that identifies a big idea in a curricular outcome, questions for classroom instruction for student assessment, sample answers shown concretely, pictorially and symbolically and connecting outcomes;

*reference documents that provide further information or resources;

*additional questions across multiple grades for each big idea found in a progression document; and,
short videos.

The numeracy project is a curriculum, instruction and assessment support for mathematics. The learning supports are aligned directly to Saskatchewan curricular outcomes."

"This seven part video series on parent engagement, explains how important it is for educators and parents to engage well with one another to enhance educational outcomes for our young children.This video series is supported by the provincial Early Years Outcome Team and the Ministry of Education."

"The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall scholarship is awarded to Grade 11 students to assist in finishing their Grade 12 school year. A maximum of 20 $500 scholarships are awarded annually. Nomination must come from a Saskatchewan high school nominating team, not directly from students."

"The Queen's Diamond Jubilee scholarship is awarded to grade 12 students who will be attending a post-secondary institution in the fall. A maximum of six $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually.

ROVER (Recommended Online Video Education Resources) is a video streaming service for Saskatchewan teachers and students in the PreK-12 education system. It is managed and maintained by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education. ROVER is a video-on-demand service that provides teachers and students with the convenience of immediate access to streamed, educational videos that support curricula. ROVER videos are housed on a server located in a school or school division network so there are no bandwidth issues, resulting in better picture quality and continuous play of videos without pauses. The videos are intended for viewing on the streaming site and not for copying or downloading.

There are approximately 1,500 videos in ROVER’s combined English and French collections that can be accessed by teachers and students to enhance learning in the classroom. All the videos found on this site have been evaluated by educational professionals and recommended to support Saskatchewan’s K-12 curricula. It remains the responsibility of educators to preview and select materials that best meet the needs of their students, school, and community. Educators should choose resources in accordance with their school division’s learning resources selection policy.

ROVER is accessible from within Saskatchewan schools or school division offices without a login. Outside of school, it is possible to access ROVER using a login through a Blackboard account. This resource primarily assesses students using written response. Indicators that include terms such as research or collect data (for example) are ideally assessed by means other than a written response. Subsequently, teachers must keep in mind that using this resource provides only one of many forms of evidence that teachers collect to report on student achievement of the outcome.
