These resources were created by BC teachers to support Math planning, instruction and assessment after a series of PD from Dr. Marion Small.

Each grade is divided into the Key concepts/strands - and each strand has an overview, foundations, progression, sample weeks of lessons, suggestions for assessment and additional resources.

The main site also includes math games, indigenous connections, assessment tools, instructional routines (number talks, activities), literature and French resources.

Math Antics has amazing videos to explain concepts for Math. The videos are very clear and explicit and students love them. All of the video lessons are FREE.

There are also follow up exercises, videos and worksheets that students can use to solidify learning - but you will be required to pay $20 a year to access these. hat being said, it's super useful even without a paid account!

White Rose Math is a teacher group which offers math training and resources, including lesson plans and ideas. The resources on the site are meant for parents and teachers. The content is organized by grade level based on the British system. The White Rose Maths Team has prepared a series of maths lessons for each year group from Year 1-8. Every lesson comes with an answer key and a short video showing the teacher or parent clearly and simply how to help the child to complete the activity successfully.
