Learn English is hosted by the British Council and uses high-quality resources to help users improve their English. There are unique, but linked websites for adults, teens and children. The focus is on learning English (cognitive skills) and best suited for learners wishing to improve their English.
Although the site includes British content, the free activities would be beneficial for all EAL students.

"Callysto is a free, multimodal learning program for grades 5-12 students in Canada. The program is part of a two-year pilot project by Cybera and the Pacific Institute for Mathematical Sciences (PIMS), who received funding from the federal government’s CanCode program to build and employ new technologies that promote digital literacy and help Canada’s youth develop the foundational skills required to become the future drivers of innovation."

Students sing a popular childrenŐs song, follow along with a picture book that contains the lyrics and illustrations, and then participate in activities to reinforce learning of the vocabulary words.
Modeled on the activities in ŇMiss Alaineus: A Vocabulary DisasterÓ, a picture book, students combine vocabulary exploration with word play by planning their own vocabulary parade.
Legacies 150 is a series of interactive photo and illustration essays reflecting on legacy and inheritance a century and a half into Canadian Confederation. These first-person stories explore where we come from, who we are, and what kind of nation we are becoming.
Each of you will be assigned a grade 6 and 8 partner with whom you will work with to create a storybook based on the legend of Jason and the Argonauts. Your story book must be intended for children so you will want to keep your language concise and clear while you tell the story. Requirements of your storybook are as follows:
- Front and back cover - 8-10 pages of story - Illustrations for each page - Complete retelling of the legend, including all steps of the heroic pattern
We currently offer 3 school programs:
1. Little Legislators Scavenger Hunt: 40-60 minutes, Pre-K to Grade 3 - Students will participate in a scavenger hunt for Saskatchewan symbols, and important people and objects in the Legislative Building. They learn about what government does in the building, monarchy connections, treaty maps and Indigenous leaders in Saskatchewan, and more.
2. Let's Get Legislative: 2 hours, Grades 4 to 12 - Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the function of the Legislative Building and of the elected members of the Assembly, and have the opportunity to ask their school’s MLA questions about what they see and learn in the Chamber. The Let's Get Legislative tour is only available when the Assembly is in session. For this program, please refer to the parliamentary calendar to select a date when the Assembly will be sitting.
3. Standard School Tour: 30 minutes, all grades - Our 30-minute tour, tailored to your students’ grade level. Learn the history of the building, government, the Westminster parliamentary tradition, and more.

Les documents conservés dans ces dépôts d’archives privilégient les récits de la culture dominante et perpétuent ainsi la répétition de récits biaisés. Ce film met en question les pratiques archivistiques habituelles. Il encourage le public à s’interroger sur ce qui n’est pas dit, à faire place à une pluralité de voix et à trouver de nouvelles façons de traiter les archives.
