"Indigenous Canada is a 12-lesson Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) from the Faculty of Native Studies that explores Indigenous histories and contemporary issues in Canada. From an Indigenous perspective, this course explores key issues facing Indigenous peoples today from a historical and critical perspective highlighting national and local Indigenous-settler relations. Topics for the 12 lessons include the fur trade and other exchange relationships, land claims and environmental impacts, legal systems and rights, political conflicts and alliances, Indigenous political activism, and contemporary Indigenous life, art and its expressions."

La Credit Counselling Society (CCS), en partenariat avec l'un des plus grands districts scolaires du Canada, le district scolaire de Surrey (BC), s'est lancée dans un projet pilote. Saskatchewan French language teachers may be awarded a bursary of up to $2,000 through the French Teacher Summer Bursary program.

**Application Deadline: April 5, 2024

This bursary gives individuals the opportunity to attend a recognized Francophone or bilingual post-secondary educational institution in Canada during the months of July and August at a reduced personal cost. During this time, you will:

improve your teaching methods; and
further your knowledge of the French language.
