ARTS & COMPOSITIONS

«Les élèves qui participent au volet arts et compositions sont invités à soumettre une œuvre d’art, un essai ou toute autre représentation qui exprime leur vision de la réconciliation au pays. Jusqu’à douze projets seront choisis dans le volet arts et compositions et seront inclus dans un livret artistique présentant leur œuvre et leur message. »

PROJETS

«Les élèves qui participent au volet projets sont invités à aller plus loin en soumettant un plan et un budget pour leur vision de la réconciliation dans leur communauté ou leur école. Les projets suivants sont envisagés : inviter des survivants, des aînés ou des gardiens du savoir à prendre la parole dans le cadre d’une série d’activités d’apprentissage; construire une installation artistique permanente représentant la réconciliation à l’école; ou encourager le bénévolat dans les communautés sur le thème de la réconciliation. Six projets du volet projets recevront 750 $, six recevront 1 000 $ et trois recevront 1 500 $. Ces projets seront également reconnus dans un livret artistique.»

FORMATION AU LEADERSHIP & CÉRÉMONIE NATIONALE

«Douze projets du volet arts et compositions et du volet projets seront sélectionnés et honorés lors d’une cérémonie nationale. Les élèves responsables de ces projets auront la possibilité de participer à des exercices de formation au leadership en ligne. Les élèves dont les projets auront été sélectionnés dans le volet projets recevront une micro-subvention pour concrétiser leur vision de la réconciliation au pays.

Les voix de la poésie sont un organisme de bienfaisance dont l’objectif est de faire vivre le monde au rythme de la poésie. Pour y arriver, nous travaillons au sein du milieu de l’éducation, pour lequel nous souhaitons être la ressource essentielle pour l'enseignement et l'apprentissage de la poésie au Canada et dans le monde.

MISSION
Nous offrons aux enseignant·e·s des ressources pédagogiques attrayantes et leur proposons des expériences poétiques variées, en français et en anglais, afin d’inspirer leurs élèves à lire, à réciter et à écrire de la poésie :

-des anthologies en ligne de poèmes contemporains et classiques en langues française et anglaise;
-des concours de récitation où plus de 75 000 $ en prix et en voyages sont à gagner chaque année. Les concours pancanadiens se divisent en trois sections : française, bilingue et anglaise;
-le journal étudiant de poésie VOICES/VOIX;
-le programme Vers l'Avenir
-le programme Poètes à l'école/Poet In Class.
-du matériel pédagogique en français et en anglais.

Toutes nos ressources sont gratuites.

Des poètes canadien·ne·s de renom rédigent et présentent nos programmes et projets, offrant ainsi de la poésie contemporaine directement aux jeunes.»

Media School is an introductory workshop on media production guided by filmmaker and mentor Paul Tom. Students will navigate through hundreds of videos and interactive activities related to the different stages of film production. Ocean Heroes Bootcamp empowers existing and emerging youth leaders to create their own campaigns to take action against ocean plastic pollution. Through a collaboration with a group of ocean health organizing partners, the Ocean Heroes Bootcamp provides youth with the skills, resources, and confidence to create campaigns to tackle single-use plastic pollution in their communities. Ocean Heroes HQ fosters a globally connected community of youth around one central goal: to create and implement campaigns that permanently reduce plastic pollution. Campaigns created by Ocean Heroes support the achievement of UN SDG 14.1, “By 2025, prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution.” Campaigns also support the Clean Seas campaign of organizing partner UN Environment.

The Remote Network of Ocean Heroes is a free, open-source curriculum designed to enable ocean health organizations, education institutions, and passionate communities to implement the Ocean Heroes Bootcamp content seamlessly into their youth programs.
